GREMCO provides a complete rig check program, herewith the check list :
New standing rigging :
4 - 6 months visual inspection
Annual service :
Visual inspection of all fittings every year
1st service - 4 years after stepping :
Re-heading of all diagonals. All other fittings are cleaned, polished, and have non destructive testing (NDT).
2nd service - 8 years after stepping :
Unstepping, non destructive testing and inspection of all fittings, Replacement of diagonals.
3rd service - 12 years after stepping :
We recommend a complete replacement of all standing rigging.
After each inspection, a rig check report is given, and you can download it on our web site, with your login and password.
